This is the place I come when I want to craft my way - without limits. I don't do crazy 'guess what you're supposed to with this' art but things that stretch boundaries and combine spirits. I'm not a one medium, one style, one path kind of crafter. I try to explore and express the beauty of the world around me. God allows me to learn things, experience them and share them with others. The Driving Force of Fake Contractions

So, after an entire day of Braxton-Hicks contractions, I thought I should do what I could to get ready for our newest bundle of joy. We are planning a monkey theme for Joshua. Speed Shopping in Hobby Lobby

It was 7:36pm when I looked at the clock and quickly realized that I had very little time to change and get to Hobby Lobby before they closed at 8pm. When I finally got into the chain craft store, the PA came on and kindly reminded customers that it was 7:55 and they would be closing in five minutes. I hurriedly ran around the store and made it to the front and ended up behind another customer. I always check out the books they have on the rack by the registers and was glad I did tonight!

I found an amazing book called Handmade Weddings. Handmade Weddings is not just for weddings. This well organized and beautiful book has fantastic crafts for all sorts of parties or events, including baby showers.
I found these adorable favors and can't wait to put them together!
