It is just about 2010. No one could believe it when 2000 was just around the corner and now, one decade later, can you believe what these years have brought? How your life has changed? Where you've gone and what you've done?
I certainly did not see myself married to my, then, crush and have two phenomenal boys. Nor did I see myself having the job of my dreams! Its been a hard, rough, sucky, amazing, magical and terrific ten years. So here is my new resolution.
My resolution is to be me. In everything I do, I'm just going to follow my heart. I've learned that I do really well, when I listen to myself, and I need to trust myself more.
This blog is a passion of mine and I am going to take the time to follow through on it. I need that time.
I'm not sure the direction it will go, I'm not sure I care to know. That's the exciting part . . .
This is the place I come when I want to craft my way - without limits. I don't do crazy 'guess what you're supposed to with this' art but things that stretch boundaries and combine spirits. I'm not a one medium, one style, one path kind of crafter. I try to explore and express the beauty of the world around me. God allows me to learn things, experience them and share them with others. I love learning and even more teaching new things. Come, learn and experience my world with me.

A Big Month
May has been a much more profitable month than I had originally expected it to be. I have learned Saponification, new buttercream and cake recipes, gained two cake orders for my sister's graduation parties, and I have an order for another wedding cake in September! Wow and Yay!
Jessica (my favorite sister-in-law) and I have decided to throw a party for our parent-in-laws' 30th anniversary. Its planned for sometime in July. Well, I finished the invitations today. Since we don't have the details planned yet, I can't send them on to my printer. I think that I will wrap them in a pink vellum with a colored ribbon. I haven't decided on the color yet but I know it will be a very shiny, satin ribbon! Let me know what you think!
Sorry but I posted the printer ready versions. I know . . . I'm lazy.

The invite is going to be 6"x6".
